Regular Season Round 55: Kyoto Hannar. - Takamatsu FA 91-63

There was no surprise when 11th ranked Takamatsu FA (11-37) was outleveled on the road by second ranked Kyoto Hannar. (38-11) 91-63 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Kyoto Hannar.. Takamatsu FA was better in second period 16-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Kyoto Hannar. forced 19 Takamatsu FA turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American players dominated also this game. It was a very good performance for forward Tyren Johnson (202-88, college: La-Lafayette) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists. Forward Kevin Kotzur (203-89, college: St.Mary's, TX) contributed with 12 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Five Kyoto Hannar. players scored in double figures. Forward Jarvis Williams (198-89, college: Minn.St.-Mankato) answered with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds and power forward Anthony Kent (208-83, college: Ball St.) added 21 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Takamatsu FA. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Kyoto Hannar.. They maintain second place with 38-11 record having just two point less than leader Okinawa GK. Takamatsu FA lost their eighth game in a row. They keep the eleventh position with 37 games lost. Kyoto Hannar. will face again Takamatsu FA (#11) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
