Regular Season Round 26: Pardinyes-L. - Masnou 80-88

Everything went according to plan in Lleida where third ranked Masnou (11-6) beat 5th ranked Pardinyes-L. (9-8) 88-80 on Saturday. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 27-21. But Pardinyes-L. won second period 11-7. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Pardinyes-L. was plagued by 31 personal fouls down the stretch. Alberto Valle (186-81) scored 26 points to lead the charge for the winners and forward Jaume Solans (197-91) chipped in 10 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Five Masnou players scored in double figures. Point guard Pau Lopez (181-84) responded with 19 points and 6 assists and forward Pol Domingo (198-90) scored 17 points and 6 rebounds. Pardinyes-L.'s coach Jorge Serna tested eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Masnou moved-up to second place in Group C Perman, which they share with Barbera. Loser Pardinyes-L. dropped to the sixth position with eight games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
