CFBB can celebrate finally their first win this season after 32 consecutive loses. The victory is especially important as they defeated much higher ranked Caen (17-15) 93-87. Caen was ahead by 4 points after three quarters before a 32-22 charge of CFBB, which allowed them to win the game. They made 20-of-24 charity shots (83.3 percent) during the game. CFBB forced 20 Caen turnovers. Strangely Caen outrebounded CFBB 32-19 including 20 on the defensive glass. The winners were led by Jaylen Hoard (202-99) who scored that evening 23 points and forward Ivan Fevrier (200-99) supported him with 22 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Even 16 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists by Bryson Pope (201-90, college: Kent St.) did not help to save the game for Caen. CFBB maintains eighteenth position with 1-32 record. Newly promoted Caen dropped to the eighth place with 15 games lost. CFBB's next round opponent will be higher ranked Berck (#17) on the road and it may be quite challenging game.
