Finals Game 1: Pure Youth - Taiwan Beer 73-70

Pure Youth held off Taiwan Beer in the SBL championship series opener. Pure Youth trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 1-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 73-70. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Darian Townes (208-84) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points and 13 rebounds. The former international swingman Wen-Cheng Tsai (190-85) contributed with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Four Pure Youth players scored in double figures. Central African-American center Patrick O'Bryant (213-86, college: Bradley) answered with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 16 rebounds and international forward Cheng Liu (192-90) added 7 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Taiwan Beer.
