Finals Game 1: Sodertalje - Norrkoping 85-74

Sodertalje held off Norrkoping in the opening game of the Basketligan Finals. The game was mostly controlled by Sodertalje Kings. Norrkoping Dolphins managed to win third quarter 17-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great shooting night for Sodertalje Kings especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 61.1 percentage. American guard Skyler Bowlin (190-89, college: Missouri So.) stepped up and scored 25 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners and Latvian guard Davis Lejasmeiers (192-91) chipped in 19 points. Five Sodertalje Kings players scored in double figures. At the losing side the former international center Joakim Kjellbom (212-79, college: N.Arizona) responded with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) and American center Josh Hairston (203-92, college: Duke) scored 17 points and 5 rebounds.
