Quarter-Finals Round 4: Trotamundos - Cocodrilos 83-93

Cocodrilos fired past Trotamundos to gain 3-1 lead in the quarterfinal series. The game without a history. Cocodrilos led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. Trotamundos were plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. The winners were led by American forward Wendell McKines (198-88, college: N.Mexico St.) who scored that evening 23 points and 7 rebounds and the other American import forward Tony Mitchell (203-92, college: N.Texas) supported him with 18 points and 9 rebounds. Five Cocodrilos players scored in double figures. Even 29 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists by the former international point guard David Cubillan (181-87, college: Marquette, agency: Pro Sports) did not help to save the game for Trotamundos. American Robert Glenn (203-89, college: IUPUI) added 18 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
