Finals Game 1: Marburg - Herner 80-63

Marburg defeated Herner in the consolation finals opener. The game without a history. BC Pharmaserv Marburg led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. It was a great shooting night for BC Pharmaserv Marburg especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.0 percentage. American guard Katie Yohn (182, college: Bradley) fired 23 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) for the winners. Her fellow American import center Stephanie Lee (186, college: N.Colorado) chipped in 11 points and 7 rebounds. Four BC Pharmaserv Marburg players scored in double figures. The former international power forward Sonja Greinacher (188-92, college: Gonzaga) produced 18 points and the former international point guard Lea Mersch (170-87) added 9 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for lost side.
