Polonia Leszno fired past Polonia Bytom to sweep the quarterfinal series. Guard Nikodem Sirijatowicz (188-94) notched 16 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and point guard Jedrzej Jankowiak (183-83, agency: Promotex) supported him with 16 points and 7 assists. Four Polonia Leszno players scored in double figures. Even 22 points by forward Tomasz Gembus (197-87) did not help to save the game for Polonia Bytom. Forward Grzegorz Zadecki (195-83) added 9 points and 6 rebounds for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
