Regular Season Round 58: Shiga L-Stars - Takamatsu FA 91-66

Date: April 24, 2016
No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Shiga L-Stars (35-17) crushed at home 11th ranked Takamatsu FA (11-41) 91-66 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Shiga L-Stars. Takamatsu FA was better in fourth quarter 24-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Shiga L-Stars looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Takamatsu FA's players. It was a very good performance for Zimbabwean-American Julian Mavunga (203-90, college: Miami, OH, agency: Pensack Sports) who helped to win the game recording 19 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). American forward Jeffrey Parmer (203-85, college: Florida Atlantic) contributed with 15 points and 4 assists for the winners. Four Shiga L-Stars players scored in double figures. American forward Jarvis Williams (198-89, college: Minn.St.-Mankato) replied with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 16 rebounds and his fellow American import power forward Anthony Kent (208-83, college: Ball St.) added 16 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Takamatsu FA. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Shiga L-Stars moved-up to third place, which they share with Osaka Evessa and Akita NH. Takamatsu FA lost twelfth consecutive game. They keep the eleventh position with 41 games lost.
