Quarter-Finals Round 3: Tadamon - Sagesse 75-100

Date: April 25, 2016
Sagesse cruised past Tadamon to take 2-1 lead in the series. The game was mostly controlled by Sagesse. Tadamon managed to win third quarter 23-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Sagesse shot 62.7 percent from the field. Sagesse outrebounded Tadamon 36-25 including a 27-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great evening for American guard Terrell Stoglin (185-91, college: Maryland) who led his team to a victory scoring 33 points (!!!) and 4 assists. His fellow American import guard Demarius Bolds (193-84, college: Missouri Western) helped adding 22 points and 5 assists. Bolds is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Sagesse players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Serbian swingman Branko Cvetkovic (200-84) with 27 points and American forward Desmond Penigar (201-81, college: Utah St.) scored 15 points and 8 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
