Sampaio have been crowned the LBF champions. They beat Corinthians in Game 4 of the championship series to celebrate the trophy. The game without a history. Sampaio led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Corinthians/Americana's 32. They outrebounded Corinthians/Americana 42-25 including a 30-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. International center Nadia Gomes Calhado (193-89) fired a double-double by scoring 10 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. International forward Isabela Lyra (180-94) chipped in 16 points. Four Sampaio players scored in double figures. Sampaio's coach felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The former international center Damiris Do Amaral (192-92) produced 15 points and 7 rebounds and the former international guard Babi Generoso (180-85) added 4 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side.
