Regular Season Round 28: Dinamo Tbilisi - Kutaisi 69-86

An interesting game for Kutaisi (19-9) which played road game in Tbilisi against 3rd ranked Dinamo Tbilisi (17-11). First ranked Kutaisi had an easy win 86-69. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Dinamo Tbilisi. Dinamo Tbilisi was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. They outrebounded Dinamo Tbilisi 49-31 including a 33-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Kutaisi players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Giorgi Barbakadze (203-91) who helped to win the game recording 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international Beka Bekauri (207-91) who added 12 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side international point guard Nodar Gogodze (191-94) responded with 17 points and guard Nika Baqradze (193-92) scored 7 points and 9 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Kutaisi have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 19-9 record, which they share with Batumi. Dinamo Tbilisi at the other side keeps the third place with 11 games lost.
