Regular Season Round 28: Masnou - Miramar 56-68

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Masnou (12-7) in Barcelona. Hosts were defeated by Miramar (13-6) 68-56. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Masnou. It was a key game for the top position in Group C Perman. The game without a history. Miramar led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Worth to mention a great performance of center Carlos Bustamante (200-88) who helped to win the game recording 11 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Joan Reda (186-94) who added 18 points during the contest. Four Miramar players scored in double figures. At the losing side forward Marc Balague (190-85) responded with 16 points and 7 rebounds and Alberto Valle (186-81) scored 12 points and 6 assists. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Miramar keeps a position of Group C Perman leader. Masnou at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the second place with seven games lost. Miramar will play against Barbera (#4) in Barcelona in the next round. Masnou will play on the road against Andorra II and hopes to get back on the winning track.
