Quarter-Finals Round 2: Rosa Radom - Polfarmex KT 63-56

Rosa Radom held off Polfarmex Kutno to secure the second straight win in the series. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But AZS Polfarmex won third quarter 17-11. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Rosa won last quarter 18-12. They also forced 20 AZS Polfarmex turnovers. Strangely AZS Polfarmex outrebounded Rosa 45-21 including a 16-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Rosa made 7 blocks. American point guard Torey Thomas (178-85, college: Holy Cross) scored 16 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import C.J. Harris (191-91, college: Wake Forest) chipped in 22 points during the contest. Canadian center Michael Fraser (203-84, college: Oklah.Baptist) responded with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 14 rebounds and the former international Michal Gabinski (202-87) scored 16 points and 8 rebounds. AZS Polfarmex's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
