The game in Nagoya supposed to be also quite interesting. Fourth ranked Aishin Sea Horses (35-18) played at the court of 7th ranked Mitsubishi Dolphins (28-28). Aishin Sea Horses smashed Mitsubishi Dolphins 77-52 on Saturday. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Mitsubishi Dolphins. The game was mostly controlled by Aishin Sea Horses. Mitsubishi Dolphins was better in third quarter 18-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Mitsubishi Dolphins 50-30 including a 19-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great evening for American center Isaac Butts (208-89, college: Appalachian St.) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 23 rebounds. His fellow American import power forward Gavin Edwards (206-88, college: Connecticut) helped adding 15 points and 7 rebounds. At the losing side Senegalese-French forward Amath M'Baye (206-89, college: Oklahoma) responded with 6 points and 7 rebounds and the former international guard Takuya Kawamura (193-86) scored 10 points (perfect from the field making all six shots). The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Defending champion maintains fourth place with 35-18 record. Loser Mitsubishi Dolphins keep the seventh position with 28 games lost.
