Mens Sana 1871 fired past Andrea Costa Imola to take 2-1 lead in the series. Mens Sana Siena had a 20-9 advantage in offensive rebounds. Andrea Costa IM was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was American point guard Darryl Bryant (185-90, college: W.Virginia) who scored 37 points (!!!) and 4 assists. The former international Mattia Udom (200-93) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was naturalized Argentinian swingman Patricio Prato (194-79) who recorded 21 points and 5 rebounds and guard Norman Hassan (197-90) added 21 points respectively. Andrea Costa IM's coach Giampiero Ticchi tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game.
