Quarter-Finals Round 1: Angers BC - Rueil 64-68

Date: May 7, 2016
Rueil upset Angers BC on the road in the playoffs opener. The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 24-14. But Angers BC won second period 16-11. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American forward Jonathan Mitchell (200-87, college: Rutgers, agency: Inception Sports) stepped up and scored 17 points and 5 rebounds for the winners and point guard Fabien Calvez (187-84, college: Evansville, agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in 12 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Rueil players scored in double figures. At the losing side American forward Cedrick Williams (206-92, college: NC-Wilmington) responded with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 13 rebounds and the other American import forward Darnell Dodson (201-89, college: S.Mississippi) scored 15 points and 7 rebounds. Angers BC's coach Vincent Lavandier rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
