There was a surprise result when fourteenth ranked La Fecha (6-18) won against on the road higher ranked Valladolid Univ. (11-13) 71-61 on Sunday. The game without a history. La Fecha led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. La Fecha forced 20 Valladolid Univ. turnovers. Forward Arturo Sarmiento (193-94, agency: Dynamics Global Management) orchestrated the victory by scoring 15 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Millan Lopez (185-94) contributed with 15 points for the winners. Forward Juan Arranz (192-92) answered with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 12 rebounds and forward Axel Castillo (194-88) added 12 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Valladolid Univ.Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
