Regular Season Round 32: Poitiers - Nantes 80-83

Let's start with guest Nantes' (#7) road victory over Poitiers (#8) 83-80 on Sunday evening. Poitiers was trailing by 5 points at halftime but managed to get 4-point lead after three quarters before a 22-15 charge of Nantes, which allowed them to win the game. American-British power forward Laurence Ekperigin (201-88, college: Le Moyne) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists and American point guard Darrin Dorsey (188, college: Dakota Wesleyan) added 17 points and 5 assists respectively for the hosts. Five Poitiers players scored in double figures. Nantes maintains seventh position with 17-15 record. Poitiers at the other side keeps the eighth place with 16 games lost. They share the position with Vichy Clermont and Lille. Nantes are looking forward to face Saint Chamond (#15) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Poitiers will play against Le Portel (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
