Semi-Finals Game 2: Benfica - Oliveirense 69-71

Oliveirense shocked Benfica away from home to even things up in the series. The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 20-11. But Benfica won third quarter 25-24. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Strangely Benfica outrebounded Oliveirense 35-23 including 27 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was American forward James Ellisor (195-90, college: Bemidji St.) who scored 25 points and 6 rebounds. Latvian Arturs Bricis (198-92) chipped in 18 points and 5 rebounds. American guard Daequan Cook (195-87, college: Ohio St., agency: Priority Sports) produced 21 points and his fellow American import Jeremiah Wilson (205-88, college: Tarleton St.) added 8 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Benfica's coach Carlos Lisboa rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
