Regular Season Round 34: Paris-Levallois - Le Mans 60-64

There was no surprise when 14th ranked Paris-Levallois (12-22) was defeated at home by third ranked Le Mans (23-11) 64-60. The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 28-13. But Paris-Levallois won second period 20-10. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Le Mans won last quarter 14-11. It was a very good performance for American point guard Tywain McKee (188-86, college: Coppin St.) who helped to win the game recording 14 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. Beninese power forward Mouphtaou Yarou (204-90, college: Villanova) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. American guard Jason Rich (191-86) replied with 17 points and his fellow American import point guard Chris Jones (178-91, college: Louisville) added 10 points in the effort for Paris-Levallois. Le Mans maintains third position with 23-11 record having four points less than leader Monaco. Paris-Levallois lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the fourteenth place with 22 games lost.
