Finals Game 1: TLU/Kalev - Rapla 82-83

Rapla eked out a narrow road win over TLU/Kalev in the consolation final series opener. The guests trailed by 4 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 5-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 83-82. Rapla made 19-of-23 free shots (82.6 percent) during the game. Rapla had a 14-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. American forward Maurice Kemp (203-91, college: E.Carolina) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 10 rebounds for the winners and Dutch center Thomas van der Mars (208-90, college: Portland) chipped in 12 points and 14 rebounds. Four Rapla players scored in double figures. At the losing side Canadian guard Johnny Berhanemeskel (188-92, agency: Two Points) responded with 27 points and the former international point guard Reimo Tamm (188-84) scored 20 points and 5 rebounds.
