Semi-Finals Game 4: Mogi - Flamengo 91-93

Date: May 14, 2016
Flamengo overcame Mogi das Cruzes to force the decisive fifth game in the semifinal series. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Mogi won third quarter 25-24. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Flamengo made 26-of-31 free shots (83.9 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Mogi's players. 24 personal fouls committed by Mogi helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of Dominican-American guard Ronald Ramon (183-86, college: Pittsburgh) who helped to win the game recording 27 points (perfect from downtown making all seven shots !!!) and the former international forward Olivinha Rodriguez (203-83) who added 14 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. Four Flamengo players scored in double figures. At the losing side naturalized American Shamell Stallworth (195-80, college: USF, agency: Interperformances) responded with 28 points and the former international point guard Larry Taylor (185-80, college: Missouri Western) scored 23 points and 5 rebounds. Mogi's coach Danilo Padovani rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
