Eleventh-ranked Maccabi K/G (11-22) used its home court advantage to challenge seventh ranked Maccabi Rishon (16-17) in Kiryat Gat. The visitors from Rishon Le-Zion managed to secure only three-point victory 85-82. However their fans expected much easier game. Maccabi K/G cut a 13-point halftime deficit to three at the end of the game. 26 personal fouls committed by Maccabi K/G helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities.
