Semi-Finals Game 2: Cassino - Palestrina 77-100

Palestrina upset Cassino to level things up at 1-1. Palestrina shot the lights out from three nailing 17 long-distance shots on high 58.6 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Matteo Pierangeli (201-92) notched 20 points and 8 rebounds to lead the effort and forward Daniele Brenda (193-93) supported him with 8 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Even 17 points and 6 rebounds (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) by guard Daniele Grilli (191-87) did not help to save the game for Cassino. Power forward Luca Ianes (203-80, agency: SPORTlab Agency) added 12 points and 9 rebounds for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
