Dinamo Tbilisi outscored Kutaisi to force the decisive fifth game in the series. The hosts trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 38-22 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Worth to mention a great performance of international center Giorgi Sharabidze (210-90, agency: Mansfield and Associates) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds and Serbian swingman Maksim Kovacevic (196-87, agency: SPORTlab Agency) who added 15 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Four Dinamo Tbilisi players scored in double figures. At the losing side Azerbaijani guard Zaur Pashaev (188-83) responded with 18 points and 5 rebounds and the former international Beka Bekauri (207-91) scored 8 points, 5 rebounds and 5 blocks. Kutaisi's coach Kote Tugushi rotated ten players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
