Regular Season Round 11: Sandringham S. - Albury LB 74-54

Date: May 28, 2016
We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams in Cheltenham where seventh ranked Sabres (3-7) outleveled 6th ranked Lady Bandits (2-10) 74-54 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was American guard Brittany Smart (175-85, college: Cedarville) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. British guard Eilidh Simpson (170-92, college: St.Francis, NY) chipped in 20 points. Sabres' coach used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Haylee Lepaio (188, college: Newberry) produced 12 points and 8 rebounds and Stephanie Gorman added 16 points respectively for the guests. Sabres moved-up to sixth place in League which they share with defeated Lady Bandits. Loser Lady Bandits keep the sixth position with ten games lost. Sabres will face again Lady Bandits (#6) in Albury in the next round.
