Toshiba Brave Thunders cruised past Aishin Sea Horses to even the championship series. The fifth and decisive game is scheduled for Sunday. The game without a history. Toshiba Thunders led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Aishin Sea Horses to just 4 points in second quarter. Toshiba Thunders looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists comparing to just 6 passes made by Aishin Sea Horses' players. American forward Nick Fazekas (211-85, college: Nevada) fired 30 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Senegalese swingman Mamadou Diouf (197-77, college: Delaware) chipped in 7 points and 5 rebounds. American center Isaac Butts (208-89, college: Appalachian St.) produced 14 points and 9 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) and his fellow American import power forward Gavin Edwards (206-88, college: Connecticut) added 14 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
