Bucaros cut the deficit in Finals. They rallied past Academia to get within one win 1-2. The game was mostly controlled by Bucaros. Academia managed to win third quarter 21-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Bucaros dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Academia's 46. The best player for the winners was power forward Luis Julio (201-80) who had a double-double by scoring 14 points and 14 rebounds. American guard Prince Obasi (193-91, college: Seattle) chipped in 13 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals. Five Bucaros players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Puerto Rican-Dominican forward Jonathan Rodriguez (196-87, college: Campbell, agency: DTMones) who recorded 23 points and 7 rebounds and the former international power forward Divier Perez (201-89) added 11 points and 9 rebounds respectively.
