Fifth-ranked Caneros LR (4-7) made lots of trouble for first ranked Metros STGO (11-1) in Santiago on Tuesday. Metros STGO managed to secure only two-point victory 105-103. However their fans expected much easier game. The hosts trailed by 5 points at the halftime before their 32-22 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. 24 personal fouls committed by Caneros LR helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was point guard Adris De Leon (180-84, college: E.Washington) who scored 19 points, 5 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals. Victor Liz (188-86) chipped in 24 points. They share the position with Huracanes PP and Reales LV. Metros STGO are looking forward to face Soles SD (#4) in Santo Domingo in the next round. Caneros LR will have a break next round.
