An exciting game was played in Toulon. Hyeres-Toulon faced Gravelines-Dunkerque. Host Hyeres-Toulon (1-0) defeated guests from Gravelines (0-1) 75-62. The hosts trailed by 8 points after first quarter, but they stormed back winning two of next three quarters and won the game by 13 points. American swingman Ryan Evans (203-90, college: Wisconsin) fired a double-double by scoring 11 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Point guard David Michineau (191-94) chipped in 14 points.
