Regular Season Round 3: Nishinomiya S. - Shinshu BW 86-64

Not a big story in a game when Shinshu BW (0-3) was outscored by Nishinomiya S. (2-1) in Hyogo 86-64 on Saturday. The game without a history. Nishinomiya S. led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Shinshu BW's 28. Nishinomiya S. forced 21 Shinshu BW turnovers. Shinshu BW was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for American center Will Creekmore (205-89, college: Missouri St.) who led his team to a victory with 23 points and 8 rebounds. His fellow American import forward Larry Owens (201-83, college: ORU, agency: Three Eye Sports) contributed with 9 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Four Nishinomiya S. players scored in double figures. American forward Terrance Shannon (203-90, college: VCU) answered with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 14 rebounds and Yosuke Yosuke (184-85) added 13 points in the effort for Shinshu BW. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Nishinomiya S. will face again Shinshu BW (#6) in Nagano in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game.
