Regular Season Round 3: CFBB - Quimper 44-87

Quimper UJAP (3-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed CFBB (0-3) in Paris 87-44. The game without a history. Quimper UJAP led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding CFBB to just 7 points in first quarter. Quimper UJAP dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to CFBB's 22. Quimper UJAP forced 22 CFBB turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists comparing to just 5 passes made by CFBB's players. CFBB was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a quality performance for Ukrainian forward Vyacheslav Bobrov (201-92) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists. American guard Jahsha Bluntt (198-84, college: Delaware St.) accounted for 19 points for the winning side. Four Quimper UJAP players scored in double figures. Forward Ivan Fevrier (200-99) came up with 10 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Joel Ayayi (193-0) added 7 points respectively for CFBB in the defeat. CFBB's coach Jean-Aime Toupane gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Quimper UJAP will play against Gries/Oberhoffen (#14) in Bischwiller in the next round which should be another easy win for them. CFBB will play on the road against Vendee Challans and hopes to get finally their first victory.
