Regular Season Round 2: Salt - JAC Sants 82-77

Salt used a home court advantage and won against the opponent from Barcelona 82-77 on Sunday night. Salt forced 21 JAC Sants turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The best player for the winners was guard Guillem Pascua (186-89) who scored 25 points. Point guard Xavier Torrent (176-90) chipped in a double-double by scoring 13 points, 5 rebounds, 10 assists and 4 steals. Forward Oscar Gonzalez (200-97) produced 16 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and center Aitor Gomez (210-93) added 11 points and 12 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Salt will face Santfeliuenc (#14) in Sant Feliu in the next round which should be an easy win for them. JAC Sants will play at home against Martorell (#3) and hope to win that game.
