But Igualada was not able to use a home court advantage and lost to the opponent from 74-66 on Sunday night. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Igualada won fourth quarter 16-14. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Sant Adria forced 21 Igualada turnovers. Igualada was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was guard Francesc Pascal (188) who scored 17 points (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Marc Morales chipped in 12 points. Center Micky Garcia (206-85, agency: Dynamics Global Management) produced 15 points and center Eduard Tejero (195-92) added 14 points respectively for the hosts. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Sant Adria will face Pardinyes-L. (#12) in Lleida in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Igualada will play on the road against Quart (#4) and hope to win that game.
