But MKS DG 2 was not able to use a home court advantage and was outplayed by the opponent from Rybnik 79-47 on Monday night. Rybnik forced 19 MKS DG 2 turnovers and outrebounded them 51-30 including a 32-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Center Tomasz Czajkowski (204-82) scored 9 points and 13 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and forward Krzysztof Zielinski (192-82) chipped in 11 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Dawid Boryka (189-97) responded with 9 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Dominik Rajczak (184-97) scored 5 points and 4 assists. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Rybnik will face Przemysl (#4) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. MKS DG 2 will play against AZS PS Gliwice (#10) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
