Quarter-Finals Round 1: Santeras - Cangrejeras 74-70

Santeras topped Cangrejeras to take 1-0 lead in the series. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 1-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 74-70. Santeras outrebounded Cangrejeras 47-34 including a 37-26 advantage in defensive rebounds. International swingman Ali Gibson (180-93, college: Oregon St.) fired 20 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. American forward Deven Hunter (190-94, college: Oregon St.) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds. Four Santeras players scored in double figures. American forward Kayla Thornton (185-92, college: UTEP) produced a double-double by scoring 30 points, 16 rebounds and 5 assists and the former international point guard Dayshalee Salaman (163-90, college: Lincoln Memorial) added 17 points and 5 assists respectively for lost side.
