Regular Season Round 3: Pogon Prudnik - GTK Gliwice 71-74

Very important is a home loss of Pogon Prudnik (2-1) against GTK Gliwice (2-1) on Saturday night. Host Pogon Prudnik was edged by GTK Gliwice in a tough game in Prudnik 71-74. The guests were ahead by 10 points but lost the second period ending it with a 2-point deficit before their 17-12 run, which allowed them to win the game. At the other side the best for losing team was center Patryk Nowerski (205-91) who recorded a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds and Tomasz Prostak (188-88, agency: Octagon Europe) added 15 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists respectively. Four Pogon Prudnik players scored in double figures. GTK Gliwice's next round opponent will be Rosa II Radom (#16) at home which should be an easy win for them. Pogon Prudnik will play against GKS Tychy (#14) and hope to win that game.
