An exciting game was played in Ostrow. Stal II Ostrow faced Sudety. Host Stal II Ostrow (3-0) defeated guests from Jelenia Gora (2-1) 83-68. Stal II Ostrow outrebounded Sudety 38-24 including 27 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. It was a great evening for Krzysztof Spala (190-93) who led his team to a victory scoring 27 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Center Wojciech Zurawski (202-76) helped adding 17 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. The best for the losing side was power forward Jaroslaw Wilusz (200-85) with 17 points and 7 rebounds and power forward Pawel Minciel (203-88) scored 14 points and 6 rebounds. Five Stal II Ostrow and four Sudety players scored in double figures. Stal II Ostrow will meet at home Katy Wroclawskie (#11) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Sudety will play against Slask (#2) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
