Regular Season Round 3: Sitges - Valls Nutrion 66-62

Sitges used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from 66-62 on Saturday night. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Valls Nutrion won third quarter 24-20. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a good game for center Eduard Riu (202-82) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 13 rebounds. Ignacio Velasco contributed with 13 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four Sitges players scored in double figures. Equatorial Guinea forward Oscar Ngomo (197-90) answered with 14 points and 9 rebounds and power forward Josep Miguel (204) added 9 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Valls Nutrion. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game.
