Regular Season Round 3: Easo - Mondragon 81-66

Easo used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from Mondragon 81-66 on Saturday night. Easo dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Mondragon's 24. They outrebounded Mondragon 40-29 including a 33-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a good game for Mikel Sanz (195-99) who led his team to a victory with 13 points and 7 rebounds. Center Inigo Sarasola (207-95) contributed with 13 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Guard Martxel Balanzategui (191-92) answered with 14 points and 6 rebounds and guard Gorka Arejolaleiba (178-81) added 13 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Mondragon. Four Mondragon players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
