Very predictable result when Samsun (2-0) defeated at home Muglaorman (0-2) 85-67 on Saturday. They outrebounded Muglaorman 43-28 including 31 on the defensive glass. Samsun looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Guinea-American forward Ousmane Drame (206-93, college: Quinnipiac) had a double-double by scoring 16 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and American point guard Jerry Smith (188-87, college: Louisville, agency: HMS) chipped in 21 points and 5 assists during the contest. American guard Ricky Harris (187-87, college: Massachusetts) responded with 12 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and point guard Soykan Yikilmaz (185-92) scored 10 points and 6 assists. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Samsun will face Gelisim (#13) in Izmir in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Muglaorman will play at home against Bandirma Kir. and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
