Regular Season Round 3: Kongsberg - Ammerud Bskt 86-71

Kongsberg defeated Ammerud Bskt at home 86-71. The game was mostly controlled by Kongsberg. Ammerud Bskt was better in fourth quarter 20-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was an exceptional evening for Cuba-American guard Juan Ferrales (188-91, college: Barry) who led the winners and scored 32 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Guard Oivind Lundestad (194-91, college: Point Loma) accounted for 18 points for the winning side. American forward Ronald Timus (196-84, college: Morgan St.) came up with 23 points and 9 rebounds and the other American import guard Mookie Rivelino (194-84, college: Quincy) added 21 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Ammerud Bskt in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Ammerud Bskt will play next round against strong Nidaros Jets trying to get back on the winning streak. Kongsberg will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
