American point guard Taylor Brown (170-93, college: George Mason) orchestrated the victory by scoring 27 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. International guard Gunnhildur Gunnarsdottir (176-90) contributed with 8 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. American swingman Carmen Tyson-Thomas (180-91, college: Syracuse, agency: Two Points) replied with a double-double by scoring 38 points (!!!) and 14 rebounds and Bjork Gunnarsdotir (-98) added 5 points in the effort for Njardvik. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
