Regular Season Round 3: Stal SW - Ostrow Mazow. 51-71

There was no surprise in Stalowa Wola where Stal SW (1-2) was crushed by Ostrow Mazow. (3-0) 71-51 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Ostrow Mazow.. Stal SW was better in second period 14-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was guard Bartosz Grudzinski (186-91) who had a double-double by scoring 13 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists. Ukrainian point guard Aleksander Szczerbatiuk (182-96) chipped in 13 points and 5 rebounds. Four Ostrow Mazow. players scored in double figures. Ostrow Mazow.'s coach Grzegorz Helcbergier used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Dawid Zagula (185-96) who recorded 17 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) and Adrian Warszawski (201-96) added 13 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Ostrow Mazow. will face Syntex Ksiezak (#4) in Lowicz in the next round. Stal SW will play on the road against AZS UJK Kielce and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
