Bakken smashed SISU in Aarhus 95-71. The hosts trailed by 17 points after first quarter, but they stormed back and won the game by 24 points. Bakken looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American guard Mike Gesell (188-93, college: Iowa) orchestrated the victory by scoring 20 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 steals. American-Trinidad and Tobago guard Devaughn Akoon-Purcell (196-93, college: Illinois St.) contributed with 21 points for the winners. American guard Kyle Dranginis (196, college: Gonzaga) replied with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists and his fellow American import forward Tanner McGrew (203, college: W.Virg.Wesl., agency: Duran International) added 16 points and 13 rebounds in the effort for SISU. Five Bakken and four SISU players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. SISU will play next round against Stevnsgade trying to get back on the winning streak. Bakken will try to continue on its current victory against Horsholm on the road.
