Regular Season Round 5: CFBB - RAC Basket 62-119

Bottom-ranked CFBB is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their fifth consecutive match to sixth ranked Rueil (3-2) 119-62 on Tuesday evening. The game without a history. Rueil led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to CFBB's 36 and made 19-of-23 free shots (82.6 percent) during the game. Rueil forced 19 CFBB turnovers and outrebounded them 34-19 including a 23-12 advantage in defensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 52.2 percentage. Rueil looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by CFBB's players. Point guard Jeremy Bichard (186-90) nailed 15 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists for the winning side and Serbian swingman Dejan Sencanski (198-84, college: Abil.Christian) accounted for 21 points and 5 rebounds. Five Rueil players scored in double figures. Forward Ivan Fevrier (200-99) came up with 15 points and 9 rebounds and center Thimotee Bazille (201-99) added 13 points respectively for CFBB in the defeat. Rueil moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 5 other teams. Loser CFBB still closes the standings with five games lost. Rueil will meet at home Gries/Oberhoffen (#12) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. CFBB will play against Vitre (#8) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
