First defeat of Quimper UJAP (4-1) against eleventh ranked GET Vosges (3-2) 81-71 was the most important game of the last round. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Quimper UJAP. GET Vosges shot 61.4 percent from the field. Forward Masse Doumbe (203-87, college: Kaiser) orchestrated the victory by scoring 18 points. American center Kyle Tresnak (208-92, college: Weber St.) contributed with 12 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) for the winners. Naturalized Cameroonian guard Ralph Temgoua (194-87, college: St.Lawrence) answered with 17 points and American forward Dwight Burke (202-86, college: Marquette) added 12 points in the effort for Quimper UJAP. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. GET Vosges moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 5 other teams. Quimper UJAP at the other side dropped to the second position with one game lost. They share it with Caen. They were replaced at the leadership position by Souffel. Quimper UJAP will play next round against Lourdes-Tarbes trying to make it back to the top of the standings. GET Vosges will try to continue on its current victory against seventeenth ranked Vendee Challans on the road.
