Regular Season Round 2: Snaefell - Njardvik 83-104

Date: October 13, 2016
Snaefell (0-2) was outscored at home by Njardvik (1-1) with the biggest margin this round 104-83. The game was mostly controlled by Njardvik. Snaefell was better in fourth quarter 25-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 25-of-28 charity shots (89.3 percent) during the game. American forward Corbin Jackson (198, college: Florida Tech) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds. Guard Bjorn Kristjansson (188-92) contributed with 20 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) for the winners. Five Njardvik players scored in double figures. Canadian Sefton Barrett (196-83, college: Cent.Michigan, agency: Blacktop Management) replied with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds and Swedish Andre Michelsson (-97) added 17 points in the effort for Snaefell. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Njardvik's next round opponent will be Stjarnan (#3) at home and it may be the game of the week. Snaefell will play against Keflavik (#4) and hope to win that game.
