Regular Season Round 3: Ourense - Castello 82-81

There was a minor upset when Castello (1-2) was edged on the road by Ourense (1-2) 82-81 on Friday. Castello was trailing by 7 points at halftime but managed to get 1-point lead after three quarters before a 27-25 charge of Ourense, which allowed them to win the game. The best player for the winners was American forward Kyle Hittle (196-94, college: Incarnate Word, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) who scored 15 points and 5 rebounds. Center Francisco Guerra (214-92) chipped in 14 points and 6 rebounds. Five Ourense players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Borja Arevalo (195-91) who recorded a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds and power forward Federico Ucles (204-93) added 12 points respectively. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Ourense will face Gipuzkoa (#3) in San Sebastian in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
